Stem Commissioners Retreat and the Town Board’s 2024 Priorities

We are thrilled to share updates about yesterday’s Stem Commissioners retreat and the Town Board’s 2024 priorities. Here’s what’s in store for our amazing town:

Downtown Plan: The Town Board is committed to revitalizing our downtown area! We are in the process of developing a comprehensive plan that focuses on enhancing the vibrancy and charm of our town center. From attracting new businesses to improving public spaces, we are dedicated to creating a thriving hub for our community. We expect this plan completed sometime in late February or early March and will unveil it to the public at that time.

Scaling Local Government: As our population continues to grow, so does the responsibility of our local government. The Town Board recognizes this and is actively working on scaling our services and resources to meet the needs of our residents. We strive to provide efficient and effective governance while maintaining the small-town charm that makes Stem so special.

Future Plans for a Town Hall: The Town Board is actively exploring the development of a larger Town Hall facility. This future space will serve as a central hub for community engagement, hosting town meetings, events, and providing essential services to all residents. We hope to have concrete plans to present to the public by the end of 2024.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful community, and we are committed to making Stem an even better place to live, work, and play. Together, let’s build a brighter future for our town!  #StemCommissionsRetreat #2024Priorities #BuildingOurFuture #CommunityFirst
